    National Informatics Centre (NIC) was established in 1976, and has since emerged as a “prime builder” of e-Government / e-Governance applications up to the grassroots level as well as a promoter of digital opportunities for sustainable development. NIC, through its ICT Network, “NICNET”, has institutional linkages with all the Ministries /Departments of the Central Government, 35 State Governments/ Union Territories, and about 718 District administrations of India. NIC has been instrumental in steering e-Government/e-Governance applications in government ministries/departments at the Center, States, Districts and Blocks, facilitating improvement in government services, wider transparency, promoting decentralized planning and management, resulting in better efficiency and accountability to the people of India.

    About Telangana State Center

    NIC Telangana State Centre, started its activities at Hyderabad in 2014 due to reorganisation of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and provides wide range of computerisation activities to State/Central Government Departments, Public Sector Enterprises and other Autonomous organisations. The services include system study, design, development, testing in collaboration with user departments , training to the departmental persons, implementation, software maintenance and hand holding support.

    NIC District Offices are located in  Adilabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Hyderabad, Jagtial, Jangaon, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Jogulamba Gadwal, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Kumuram Bheem, Mahabubabad, Mahabubnagar, Mancherial, Medak, Medchal, Mulugu, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Narayanpet, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Rajanna Sircilla, Rangareddy, Sangareddy , Siddipet, Suryapet, Vikarabad, Wanaparthy, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri.
